Coping with the death of a loved one is extremely difficult, but no one should feel alone. Covenant Hospice invites those who have lost a loved one to attend this free workshop on Thursday, Aug. 24 from 9 a.m. to noon at D.W. McMillan Hospital, located at 1301 Belleville Ave. in Brewton. A six-week grief support group will follow on Thursdays starting Aug. 31 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the hospital.
This workshop is open to the community and requires no reservations. It is for both newly bereaved and those who are still coping from a previous loss. The Covenant Hospice bereavement specialist will present current information on growing through grief, the impact of grief, and renewal after loss. Please come and bring a friend to learn some new insights into the grief process.
