Mr. Willie Johnson, 57, died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2006, at his residence after an extended illness. He was a native of Foley and a lifelong resident of Escambia County. He was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Lorri O'Neal Johnson of East Brewton; two daughters, Beverly (Dylan) Byrd and Mary Ellen Johnson, both of Brewton; one stepdaughter, Gennifer Sue Wells of Jay, Fla.; two brothers, Harold (Claudette) Johnson of Pensacola, Fla. and Robert Johnson of Brewton; three sisters, Thelma (Arnold) Lambert of Mobile, Lillie (Dave) Roland of Summerdale, and Dorothy (Allen) Chancery of Brewton and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 12, at 10 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Lee officiating. Burial followed at Traveler's Rest Cemetery in Flomaton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
