Brewton City Schools are hoping to see voters at the polls on Sept. 12.
And officials want county residents to vote &#8220yes” to a tax renewal referendum.
On Monday night the board passed a resolution allowing the school district to promote the referendum.
Escambia County has set up a special election for the 4-mill tax renewal vote.
City and county school board members have said the renewal is essential to keeping up the quality of local schools.
