Date change for WSN preseason contest
W.S. Neal's preseason football game at Andalusia will be Aug. 24, not Aug. 25 as most schedules indicate. Game time is 7 p.m.
BYFL sets schedule
The Brewton Youth Football League will kick off its season Saturday with a Jamboree at Ensley, Fla.
Brewton teams will be playing Ensley Blue and Navarre Black. The Mini-Mites, Mites and Midgets will all play at 11 a.m. Games will be played throughout the day until 6 p.m.
Regular season play gets underway Aug. 26 when the Brewton teams host Cantonment, Fla.

WSN to have Meet
the Eagles Night
The W.S. Neal Quarterback Club is sponsoring Meet the Eagles Night Thursday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the cafeteria. This event is for players and their respective families only.
An Open House will be held at 7 p.m. for tours through the renovated weight room and fieldhouse. Spirit shirts will also be available. The public is welcome to attend this portion of the evening activities.
WSN cheerleaders selling spirit items
W.S. Neal High School cheerleaders will be selling spirit items at W.S. Neal Elementary School Thursday and at W.S. Neal Elementary School Friday.
Most of the items cost $1.

Jay pulls out of TRM volleyball tri-match
Jay, Fla. has pulled out of T.R. Miller's home volleyball tri-match, which also includes Thomasville, on Aug. 29.
T.R. Miller is now slated to play Thoamsville at 5 p.m. instead of 6 p.m. as indicated on the original schedule. Lady Tigers coach Sharon Peacock said there is the possibility a junior varsity match may be scheduled. T.R. Miller's junior varsity was not scheduled to play on the original date.
