Xs and Os were not the top priorities during the first week of practice for the T.R. Miller Tigers football team.
Riggs said the first three days of practice, when players were limited to shirts and shorts, were a review session.
Players shifted to pad use Thursday. Riggs said there is always a transition period from t-shirt and shorts to pads.
Riggs said more starting spots on offense have been determined than defense.
On the flip side, Riggs said only four or five starting positions have been settled on defense.
One area where Riggs feels most positions have been settled is special teams.
Riggs hopes to have a lot of the remaining lineup questions answered by the end of this week.
