Mr. Bobby Allen Thompson Sr., 50, died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006, at a Pensacola hospital. He was a native of Flomaton and a resident of Flomaton for the past 20 years. He was an employee of the Escambia County Road Department for 25 years and was preceded in death by his father, Bert Thompson.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Thompson of Flomaton; his son, Bobby Allen &#8220B.J.” Thompson Jr. of Flomaton; his daughter Jessica Lynn &#8220Jesse” Thompson of Flomaton; his mother, Christine Thompson of Flomaton; a brother, Charles Thompson of Flomaton; two sisters, Gracie Pridgen of Flomaton and Pam Bethea of Kalapps, N.C.; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Barbara Gresham of Flomaton and a brother-in-law, Dewayne Gresham of Flomaton.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 12, at 10 a.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Earle Green and the Rev. Gladdin Mothershead officiating. Burial followed at Sardis Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Andy Moye, Randal Robbins, Greg Odom, Jeremy Pridgeon, Eubba Pridgen, Will Chavers, Dewayne Gresham and Eddie Conway.
