Mayor Ted Jennings was right last week when he said interest from outside investors speaks well of our community.
A Mobile group has bought the shopping center that is home to Winn-Dixie and several other retailers and has plans to renovate the stores.
He's right. And you only have to look around to see that there is a lot of investment in our community, not only from out-of-towners but also from local residents.
