Mr. Emmett Weaver, 79, of Brandenburg Street, died Monday, Sept. 18, 2006, at his residence after an extended illness. He was a native and longtime resident of Escambia County and a retired lineman with the communications industry. He was of the Protestant faith.
He is survived by two brothers, Gene (Kay) Weaver of Brewton and Wilbur (Merlene) Weaver of Cantonment, Fla., and two sisters, Maureen (Fran) Jones of Grand Island, Fla. and Louise Owens of Knoxville, Tenn.
Memorial services will be announced later by Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
