Mrs. Barbara L. Pugh, 78, died Friday, Sept. 22, 2006, in a local nursing facility. She was a native of Pensacola and had been a resident of East Brewton since 1952 coming from Mobile. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Thomas Aubrey Pugh Sr. of East Brewton; two sons, James Anderson (Katherine) Cannon of Gulf Breeze, Fla., and Thomas Aubrey (Marcia) Pugh Jr. of Elkton, Fla.; two daughters, Deborah Ann (Keith) McClammy of Robertsdale and Barbara Faye (Frank) Barnes of Brewton; seven grandchildren, Melanie Lynn McClammy, Jennifer (Tony) Jordan, Thomas McKenley (Valerie) Pugh, Robert Edward Cannon, Kelli Ann Pugh, Brad Emanuel (Tiffany) Blackwell and Timothy Benjamin Pugh and one great grandson.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept. 24, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Virginia Pugh Beckham and Jennifer Jordan officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Keith McClammy, Brad Blackwell, McKinley Pugh, Bobby Cannon, Tony Jordan and Frank Barnes. Honorary pallbearers were her grandchildren, Melanie Lynn McClammy, Jennifer Jordan and Kelli Ann Pugh.
