Mrs. Myron Gatlin Pugh, 89, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006, in a Pensacola, Fla. hospital. She was a resident of the East Brewton area for most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church of East Brewton. She was preceded in death by her son, William Riley Pugh Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, William Riley &#8220Bill” Pugh Sr. of East Brewton; two daughters, Virginia Beckham of Jay, Fla. and Becky (Earl) Lambert of Brewton; a brother, Foy Gatlin of Pensacola; a sister, Opal McGowin of Ellisville, Miss.; four grandchildren, Jeff Beckham, Michael Beckham, Leigh Moore, Jake Lambert and three great grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Monday, Sept. 25, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Fort Crawford Cemetery with the Rev. George Weaver and the Rev. Frank Scott officiating and Craver's Funeral Home directing.
