Three first half touchdowns and conversions by Andalusia proved too for the T.R. Miller Tigers B team to overcome Monday, as they dropped a 24-14 decision at Andalusia.
Both teams traded first half touchdowns. Andalusia scored on a 10-yard run and added the conversion to take an 8-0 lead. Matt Lane answered for the Tigers with a 55-yard scoring run. A missed conversion left Andalusia up 8-6.
The Bulldogs tacked on two more scores in the second quarter, one of which was a 15-yard touchdown pass on the last play of the first half. Conversions on both scores extended the Bulldogs' lead to 24-6.
T.R. Miller (2-1) accounted for the only second half score on an eight-yard touchdown run by Bradley McCreary. Cortez Banks ran in the conversion.
