Mrs. Alice Vivian Cofield, 91, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006, in Century. She was a native of Bay Minette and a resident of Century for most of her life. She attended Poplar Dell Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Cofield.
She is survived by two special nephews, Timbo Cofield and Thomas Cofield, both of Century, and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 14, at 10 a.m. at Petty Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Wallace Reid and the Rev. Mitch Herring officiating. Burial followed at McCurdy Cemetery with Petty Eastside officiating. Pallbearers were Timbo Cofield, Thomas Cofield, John Henry Malone, Jimmy Cofield, Benny Cofield and Donnie Cofield.
