They still need at least one more win to clinch their first winning campaign, but the W.S. Neal Lady Blue Eagles assured themselves of at least a break-even season Tuesday with a 25-19, 25-14, 21-25, 25-18 of visiting Opp.
Jessica Fountain led W.S. Neal in the first set with seven service points, while Katelin Hulley added six.
Caitlyn Blackman had the hot service hand for W.S. Neal (9-7) in set two with a team-high nine points, while Fountain contributed five.
Erica Cardwell led the Lady Blue Eagles in the final two sets with six points in set three and 10 in set four. Hulley and Blackman both added four in the third set, while Fountain chipped in six in the finale.
Opp claimed the junior varsity game 25-19, 25-14.
Sasha Johnson led the Lady Blue Eagles in scoring in set one with three points, while Rachel Browder had a team-best six points in set two.
