Ms. Liza Vernell &#8220Nell” Ard, 53, of Appleton Road, died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2006, in East Brewton after a brief illness. She was a native and long time resident of Brewton and a former resident of Pace, Fla. She was a domestic server in the restaurant business and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by six brothers, Buck Ard and Harlan Ard, both of Brewton, Ronnie Ard of Sarasota, Fla., Douglas Ard of Jay, Fla., Dewayne Kates of Castleberry and Donnie Ard of Pensacola, Fla.; four sisters, Glenda Hartley of Tuscaloosa, Ann Locklin of East Brewton, Peggy O'Gwynn of Brewton and Renee Kates of Jacksonville, Fla.
Memorial services will be held at a later time with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
