Mr. Harold Kennedy, 85, died Friday, Oct. 20, 2006, in a Pensacola hospital. He was a native and life long resident of Escambia County, Ala. He was a retired logger and a member of Pleasant Hill Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Chavers Kennedy; three sons, Gladden William Graves, Jimmy Graves and David Graves and a daughter, Roetta Kennedy Bell.
He is survived by his children, Melba Joyce Lambeth of Brewton, Barbara &#8220Jackie” Jay of Uriah, Johnny Ray Graves and Melvin &#8220Mike” Kennedy, both of Frisco City, Janice Kennedy, Thomas Harold Eugene &#8220Tommy” Kennedy and Tony Kennedy, all of Brewton, and Patsy Gail Kennedy Hogue of Yakamam Wash.; one sister, Dovie Comeaux of Brewton; one sister-in-law, Margaret Chavers of Brewton and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great- greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services were held, Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Cardwell, the Rev. Matthew Brittingham, the Rev. Gam Graves, the Rev. Robert Wilson and the Rev. Jessie Bohanon officiating. Burial followed with military honors at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
