Mr. Roy Thomas &#8220Red” Lampley Sr., 62, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2006 in Atmore. He was a native of Repton, a resident of Atmore for 15 years and attended the Liberty Church.
He is survived by two sons, Roy Thomas Lampley Jr. of Aurora, Texas, and Royce Thomas Lampley of New Orleans, La.; his daughter, Ann Emmons of Flomaton; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a sister, Lillie McKinley of Atmore and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 26, at 10 a.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Wetzel officiating. Burial followed at Spring Hill Cemetery in Lenox with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Larry Thornton, Steve Emmons Jr., Coy Boutwell, Mitchell McKinley, Tim Odom and Gary Miller.
