If somebody needs a theme for the Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawks softball team this fall, &#8220Who's who” might be a good starting point.
JDCC, which finished its autumn exhibition slate with a 2-10 record, has 16 freshmen on its 19-player roster.
The JDCC skipper said her team's fall schedule was slightly reduced from previous years.
Nims is not overly concerned about her team's record.
The Lady Warhawks coach feels fall play has determined five of the team's eight everyday spots.
Nims indicated freshman utility player Chastity Nicholson and freshmen third baseman Jayla Davis probably had the best individual fall seasons.
Nims indicated she was pleased with JDCC's offensive attack.
On the flip side, Nims said her team's defensive play needs to get better.
Nims anticipates little roster activity between now and the start of spring play.
