Mrs. Nancy Ellen Kirkland, 92, died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006 at a local hospital. She was a native of Conecuh County and a lifetime resident of Castleberry. She was a homemaker and a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth &#8220Bonnie” Wright of Castleberry; four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 2 p.m. at Craver's Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Gam Graves officiating. Burial followed at Cedar Creek Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Shannon Wright, Junior Nelson, James Wright, Curtis Nelson, Red Blair and Richard Capers. The honorary pallbearers were Thomas Wright, Clayton Barlow, J.B. Jackson and Edwin Booker.
