After a year and a half of work, owners of the Brewton Inn are ready to welcome the first guests to the newly renovated hotel.
Patel, who owns the hotel with her family, said the 30-year-old property was completely gutted inside, allowing full renovations to the 89 rooms and one suite.
The facility now has high-speed wireless Internet access in rooms and public areas, granite tub surrounds and down comforters in each room, a business center, a fitness center and banquet facilities for up to 75 people, Patel said.
The adjacent restaurant is not yet open, but Patel said a breakfast of pastries, coffee and other items will be available in the mornings for guests.
A grand opening celebration for the hotel is scheduled for Nov. 21.
The Patel family also owns the Days Inn in Brewton and Atmore.
