Higdon gets 10th place
at state cross country
T.R. Miller junior Crystal Higdon came away with a 10th place finish in the Class 3A-4A division of the state cross country meet held at Moulton Saturday.
Higdon, who also qualified for the state meet as an eighth grader and sophomore, had a time of 20:52 on the 3.1-mile course.
Higdon earned her state berth with an eighth place finish at the Section 2 Meet held at Auburn where she ran that course in a time of 21:39.
Tickets for WSN playoff game on sale at school
W.S. Neal fans who wish to purchase tickets for Friday's playoff game against Trinity Presbyterian may do so at the school office during school hours through Friday or until ticket supplies last.
Tickets cost $7. That price is set by the Alabama High School Atheltic Association.
TRM baseball fruit sales
available this month
Members of the T.R. Miller High School baseball team are currently selling fruit packages through the end of November.
Seedless grapefruit, oranges, apples and mixed packages are available.

No Repton games for NMS
Both of W.S. Neal Middle School's basketball games against Repton have been cancelled due to a lack of players at Repton.
W.S. Neal was supposed to have played at Repton Thursday, while Repton was supposed to visit W.S. Neal Dec. 14
