The location for the Dec. 14 games against Escambia County has also changed. Those contests had originally been scheduled to be played at T.R. Miller High School. Those games will now be played at Brewton Middle School. The starting time for that date has not changed. Play will start at 4:30 p.m. with the girls game.
McCorvey continues good college start
Former T.R. Miller Lady Tiger basketball player Joy McCorvey continues to make significant contributions during her freshman season at St. John's University.
McCorvey is averaging 6.8 points and 7.6 rebounds a game through St. John's first five games.
McCorvey has scored in double digits twice this season with a high of 13 against Brown and 12 against Iona where her 10 rebounds gave her a double-double.
The Lady Red Storm have gotten off to a rough start and stand 1-4 on the season.
