Mrs. Josephine Broughton Farrish, 76, died Monday, Nov. 27, 2006. She was a native of and resident of Brewton. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Malinda Broughton; her son, Lonnie Farrish; her brothers, James, Bernard, Larry and Stanford and her sister, Christine.
She is survived by her husband, John Lee Farrish; six children, John Lee (Kathy) Farrish Jr., George Lee Farrish, Ronnie (Linda) Farrish, Wayne (Patricia) Farrish, Pamela Farrish and Wade (Paula) Farrish; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Pauline Simpkins and Maneriva Johnson of Pensacola, Fla., and Hattie Davis of Brewton; three brothers, Ed (Rose) Broughton of Thomaston, Edward Broughton of Pensacola and Eric (Yuroko) Broughton of Brewton; her caregiver and friend, Linda Faye Hodges and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 1, at 11 a.m. at Presley-Fluker Funeral Home chapel with Apostle Jermaine Gibbs officiating. Burial followed at Pollard Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
