Mrs. Martha Stallworth Jernigan, 77, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham. She was a 1947 graduate of Evergreen High School and got a two year degree in secretarial science from API.
She is survived by a daughter, Janie Jernigan Hannah of Birmingham; a son, Kenneth Floyd Jernigan Jr. of Birmingham and a granddaughter, Whitney Elizabeth Jernigan of Birmingham.
Visitation will be held at Craver's Funeral Home from noon until service time.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 6, at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with the Rev. John Mathieu officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to the Presbyterian Home for Children in Talladega or the American Heart Association.
