Are you one of those organized individuals who had her Christmas shopping finished in July?
Or are you still struggling to find the perfect present for everyone on your list?
Either way, we're not sure your job is complete until you've become an angel for another angel in our community.
The Brewton area's annual Christmas angel drive serves 500 children in our community who need a little something special this holiday season.
The Christmas Project grants wishes for children in Brewton, East Brewton and Flomaton, purchasing gifts of clothing for children in need.
But the project needs your help, too.
While the clothing is certainly necessary, every child deserves to open something fun on Christmas morning.
That's where the rest of us come in.
All you have to do is pick up an angel at an area bank. Each boy or girl angel is printed with the age of the recipient, from birth to 14.
You can wrap your gift, attach the angel to the outside, and drop off the gift at the Chamber of Commerce office at city hall.
The deadline for turning in gifts is Dec. 15.
We have so many little angels in our community who deserve to have a merry Christmas. We hope you will help out by providing them with something special to put under the tree.
