Brewton Public Library employees celebrated their Christmas party with a big spread of food and fun in the office of the library on Tuesday.
One thing was different this year. The staff decided that instead of buying gifts for each other, they would pool the money they would have spent and give it to Habitat for Humanity.
Alecia Glaize, the director for the Greater Brewton Area Habitat for Humanity was invited to attend the party and was pleasantly surprised when Brooke Walker, the library director, presented her with the donation.
