Mr. Edward Ezell English, 79, died Monday, Dec. 25, 2006, at a Beaumont, Texas, hospital after an extended illness. He was a native of Range and a former resident of Mobile, before moving to Texas in 1951. He was a retired seaman with National Maritime Union, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Range Free Will Baptist Church.
He is survived by a brother, James Herbert English of Range; a sister-in-law, Georgia Ann English of Range; a niece and two nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 30, at 12 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Boatwright officiating. Burial followed at Range Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
