Mrs. Phyllis Annette Graves Salter, 66, of Travis Road, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, at her residence after an extended illness. She was a native of Brewton and a former resident of Illinois before moving to Brewton 27 years ago. She was retired as a sales clerk at Brewton K-Mart after 16 years and was of the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ faith. She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Snyder.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Salter of Brewton; a son, Richard Larry Snyder Jr. of Clearwater, Fla.; three brothers, Cullen Graves and George Graves, both of Brewton, and Wayne Graves of Tallahassee, Fla.; and one sister, Brenda Presley of Brewton.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Jan. 7, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. William Adams officiating. Burial followed at Beulah Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
