WSN boys basketball gets two forfeit wins
The W.S. Neal Blue Eagles basketball team picked up its first two wins of the season last week when Escambia County forfeited the two previous meetings between the teams due to the use of an ineligible player.
Escambia County originally beat W.S. Neal 81-43 at East Brewton back on Dec. 4 and 78-32 at the Escambia County Tournament played at T.R. Miller Dec. 15.
The two wins change W.S. Neal's official record to 2-14 prior to Tuesday's game at Hillcrest-Evergreen.
The forfeits do not apply to girls basketball where W.S. Neal's season record remains at 5-11.
TRM QB Club to meet Monday at Fieldhouse
The T.R. Miller Quarterback Club will hold its next meeting Monday at 6 p.m. at the Fieldhouse.
