Mrs. Mossie Ellen Laws, 75, died Tuesday, March 6, 2007, in Florence, S.C. She was a native of Tenn., and a resident of Bratt for the past 30 years. She attended Beulah Chapel Assembly of God Church and was preceded in death by her husband, George Luther Laws and a son, David Eugene Laws.
She is survived by three sons, Roger Carl Laws of Wildwood, Fla., George Ed Laws of Camarillo, Calif., and Jimmy Ray Laws of Darlington, S.C.; two daughters, JoHanna Laws of Bratt, and Carolyn Jane Faktor of Flomaton; 13 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 11, at 2 p.m. at the Petty Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony McCullough officiating. Burial will follow at Crabtree Cemetery with Petty Eastside directing. Pallbearers were Kyle Laws, Jeremy Laws, Jonathan Laws, Ben Laws, Spencer Laws and Damien Laws.
