Homer Douglas is shown here inside the family business, The Farmer's Exchange. The scales in front of Douglas are a standing trademark of the business and is still in use weighing seed of all kinds in the farmer's supply business. Douglas has been a fixture with many Brewton area farmers having been a part of the business for 52 years. His son, Eric, now runs the business daily with supervision from his father.
