Mrs. Jessie Lee Pouncey Odom, 86, died Monday, April 30, 2007, at her residence after an extended illness. She was a native of Butler County and a former resident of Pensacola, Fla., before moving to Castleberry two years ago. She was of the Pentecostal faith and a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, John (Susanne) Sirmon of Atmore; two daughters, Sarah (Charles) Sawyer and Kay Raybon, both of Castleberry; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 2, from noon to 1 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Brother Andy Pauwels officiating. Burial will follow in London Cemetery in Castleberry, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
