Mrs. Edna C. Jackson, 71, died Monday, May 28, 2007, in a local hospital. She was a native and lifelong resident of Escambia County, Ala. She was a homemaker and a member of Second St. John Baptist Church, where she had served as an usher.
She is survived by five sons, Willie C. Jackson, Woodrow Jackson, and Marvin Jackson, all of Brewton, Allen Jackson of Evergreen, and Cleo Jackson of Mobile; two daughters, Etta (William) Brazile and Cindy Gail Jackson, both of Brewton; two brothers, Isaiah Fantroy and Larry Fantroy, both of Brewton; four sisters, Rosie Johnson, Ruby Fantroy and Laura Fantroy, all of Brewton, and Eva Mae Thomas of Brookhaven, Miss.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 2, at 11 a.m. at Second St. John Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Dailey officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
