Residents complain about bridge traffic

Residents along Murder Creek Road are experiencing some difficulties when traveling along the road that leads to and from their community of 12 families.
Lamar Hodge, a resident in the area, voiced concerns over traffic issues before members of the Escambia County Commission Monday.
Although Escambia County Sheriff Grover Smith was not at the commission meeting Monday, Hodge was urged to give specific information to Smith's office concerning the matter.
Hodge told commissioners calls concerning the problems had been made to the Escambia County Sheriff's Department.
Hodge said four wheelers were also a problem in the area and each of the problems needs to be addressed.
Stokes said he would make sure Smith's office was aware of the problem and convey Hodge's concerns to the Sheriff's Department.
