Mr. Aymar Gabriel “the Cajun” and “Scorpion” Guidry, 69, died Saturday, July 28, 2007, in a Pensacola hospital. He was a native of LaFayette, La., and had been a resident of the Flomaton/Century area for the past 21 years. He was a truck driver and had worked for James Campbell and Billy Campbell Sand and Dirt and Perdido trucking company. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Brewton.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Guidry of Century, Fla.; a son, Dale Paul (Veronica) Guidry of Milton; one daughter, Nancy Marie (Raymond Patrick) Byrd of Montgomery and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Aug. 4 from noon until 2 p.m., followed by a memorial service at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Brother Ed Adams officiating.
