Mrs. Tonya Lynn Brown Gay, 39, of Waverly Place, died suddenly Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at her residence. She was a native of Mobile and a former resident of Grand Bay, before moving to Brewton in 1992. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Don Gay of Brewton; three sons, Doug Brown of Castleberry, and Christopher Dailey and James Dailey, both of Brewton; two daughters, Crystal Lee of Tampa, Fla., and Trista Lee Gay of Brewton; three brothers, Earl Brown, John Rico and Randy Rico, all of Pascagoula, Miss.; three sisters, Kelley Benefield of Flomaton, Angela Rico of Castleberry, and Helen Terry of Riverside; and one grandchild, Isaih Dickens.
Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 3, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. William Joyner officiating. Burial followed at New Hopewell Cemetery in Castleberry with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
