WSN volleyball kicks
off season Aug. 28
The W.S. Neal Lady Blue Eagles volleyball team will kick off their 2007 season Aug. 28 with a junior varsity/varsity doubleheader at Central of Allentown, Fla. Play gets underway with the junior varsity match at 4 p.m. followed by the varsity match at approximately 5 p.m.
W.S. Neal will make its home debut Sep. 6 against Monroe County with a junior varsity/varsity twinbill. That action gets underway at 4:30 p.m. with the junior varsity game followed by the varsity contest at 5:30 p.m.
W.S. Neal has seven games on its home slate. Three of those matches will be on the same day when the school hosts the Escambia County Tournament for the first time Oct. 13.

Brewton Youth Football
accepting registration
The Brewton Youth Football League is still accepting player registration for the upcoming season.
Practice begins Monday. Registration will be accepted until Aug. 8. Players age 6-12 are eligible.

T.R. Miller is slated to kick off its B team football schedule Sept. 4 with road trip to Opp.
