Mr. Will Frank Davis, 84, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007, at Jay Hospital. He was a native of Rosehill, a former resident of East Brewton, and a resident of Milton since 1959. He was in the U.S. Navy and had worked for the Civilian Conservation Corp. He was retired from St. Regis Paper Mill where he worked as a lab technician. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtis Davis; three brothers; and a half brother.
He is survived by a son, James (Betty) Davis of Milton; two daughters, Ola M.(James) Tucker of Pea Ridge, Fla., and Nellie F. (Wayne) Bynum of Pace, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Jeanette (Jerry) Weaver of Booneville; a brother, Kent Davis of Rosehill; a half brother, Collie Davis of Opp; three half sisters, Jeanell Castill of Live Oak, Fla., Ivey Jones of Rosehill and Dorothy Brown of Brooksville, Fla.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 25, at 11 a.m. at Whitfield Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Wayne Bynum and the Rev. Joe Gillman officiating. Burial followed at Whitfield Cemetery in Milton with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were his grandsons.
