Mrs. Deborah Lynne Cox, 53, died in Mobile after a short battle with cancer. She was a native of Laurel, Miss. and a long time resident of Mobile. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leola Blackmon McDaniel and James McDaniel; a sister, Carole Virginia Duncan; and her mother and father-in-law, Clifford and Kay Cox.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Tommy Ray Cox; a daughter, Cristina Elaine; two sisters, Sherry (Tommy) Webb of Saraland, and Regina (Leon) Pitts of Brewton; a brother, Larry (Jackie) McDaniel of Mobile; and many other family members and friends.
Graveside services were held Saturday, Sept. 8, at 10:30 a.m. with burial at Serenity Memorial Gardens with Serenity Funeral Home of Theodore directing.
