Parents of students at W.S. Neal Elementary School will now have the opportunity to keep up with their child's school activities 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
On the Web site, Knott said, parents can find information about students' grades and attendance, school or class information, planned activities, daily announcements, lunch menus, school policies and classroom news.
Parents will receive a student-specific user name and password to access individual accounts. The information is kept confidential and can only be accessed with specific password and other account information, Knott said.
Knott said the response from parents concerning the workshop was very positive and future workshops will be planned at the school.
Individual teachers also presented grade level information concerning the variety of tests administered to students at the school.
Other tests at the school include Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills and the Standard Achievement Test.
Additional workshops for parents will be made available throughout the school year Knott said.
