Brewton shuts out Navarre

The Brewton Youth football teams all saw big wins last weekend as all three teams shut out Navarre.
In the Mini Mite game, the Brewton team was led by running back D’Angelo Thomas who rushed for 52 yards and two touchdowns to defeat Navarre 28-0.
Quarterback Michael Smith and Demontae Jenkins also added touchdowns for Brewton.
Joshua Gunter, Michael Samuel and Trentez Thompson helped preserve the shutout on defense.
Four different players scored touchdowns for the Mites team as they crushed Navarre 34-0. McHenry Coleman had touchdowns of 30 and 45 yards along with Treylon Watson’s 25-yard run and Tamerick Jenkin’s 38-yard run.
Markail Mitchell’s 70-yard punt return provided the last points for Brewton. Ahma’ud Taylor, Terry Samuel, Larry Cheatham, Cade Castleberrry and D’Andre Fraser led the defense.
Kameron Coleman helped lead the Brewton Midgets to a 36-0 win as he rushed for over 150 yards on offense and had four touchdowns on the day.
Dominique Jackson added two touchdowns as he had a 30-yard touchdown run and 60-yard pass reception for a touchdown.
Ray Kyler, Zack Haveard and Traq Stallworth led the defense.
