Mr. Arthur B. Brazile, 72, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007. He was an active member of Greater Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. He was formerly employed at Coca Cola in Pensacola, Fla. and T.R. Miller Mill and retired from Escambia County. He was preceded in death by his parents, A.J. and Izola Brazile. He was married for 51 years to Lillie Pearl James.
He is survived by his children, Arthur (Joanne) Brazile, William (Etta) Brazile, Robert (Renee) Brazile, Michael (Samantha) Brazile, Phyllis (Carlton) King, Joyce Anderson, and Cynthia Sanders, all of Brewton; three sisters, Channel Samuel and Mamie Floyd of Brewton and May Charles (Herman) Thompson of Fresno, Calif.; one brother, Willis Brazile of Evergreen; several brothers and sisters-in-law; a god daughter, Mary Ann Culliver of Brewton; 25 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 29, at 11 a.m. at Greater Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. J.F. Atkins officiating. Burial followed at Bethlehem Church Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
