Mrs. Charlotte Ann Taylor, 81, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, in a local nursing facility. She had been a resident of the Brewton area since 1949, coming from Andalusia. She was a retired English teacher at W.S. Neal High School and was a member of First Untied Methodist Church of Brewton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Taylor Jr. and a sister, Sara W. Caffey.
She is survived by two sons, Jesse Taylor III of Brewton and William Bartlett Taylor of Montgomery; one daughter, Charlotte Anna Brostrom of Cumming, Ga.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 1, at 11 a.m. at The First United Methodist Church of Brewton with Dr. Ed Glaize officiating. Burial followed at Union Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Charlie Hartin, Steve Carpenter, Gabe Taylor, Edward Taylor, Brant Carpenter and Mark Brostom.
