Lady Eagle head coach Britney Shelly said she was pleased with the overall effort from her squad.
"We struggled with serving this week and this is what kept us out of the Andalusia game and what kept Flomaton in the game against us," Shelly said. "We did improve in our service game against Jay and during that game the girls played tough and as a team and I was real proud of that to know that we could win in three games. Maggie (Crutchfield) and Casey (Wilson) stepped up with their hitting and had a combined 15 kills and that was really good."
In the JV games, W.S. Neal lost 2-0 to Andalusia, 2-0 to Flomaton and 2-0 to Jay.
