Mrs. Mary Morgan Ward, 79, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2007, at a health center. She was a native of Brantley, Crenshaw County, and had been a member of the Flomaton community since 1952 coming from Byrneville, Fla. She was a homemaker and a member of Unity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ruel Ward Sr.
She is survived by a son, James Ruel (Barbara Ann) Ward Jr. of Flomaton; a sister, Grace Manly of Atmore; two grandchildren, Jameson Ward and Andrew Ward, both of Flomaton; and 17 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 2 p.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Johnson officiating. Burial followed at Little Escambia Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were James Parker, Jameson Ward, Andrew Ward, Danny Morgan, Leslie Morgan and Ronald Morgan.
