The T.R. Miller Lady Tigers earned a trip to the regionals when they defeated W.S. Neal 3-0 Tuesday night.
T.R. Miller won 25-14, 25-14, and 25-23.
In game one, with Miller up 10-9 when Michal Hubbard reeled off 11 straight service points for a 21-9 Miller lead. Rachel Bostic added four service points for the win. Sydney Andrews had four service points for W.S. Neal along with Katie Goolsby.
In game two, after being down 12-10, Hubbard had eight straight service points to give Miller an 18-12 lead. Bostic added six straight service points to give Miller a 24-13 lead. Bostic had 10 points total and Hubbard had eight. Maggie Crutchfield had three service points for Neal along with Casey Wilson.
In game three, Hubbard had five service points and Janel McCorvey had four service points for Miller as Malary Booker and Crutchfield had five for Neal.

With the loss for W.S. Neal, the Blue Eagles ended their season with an 11-6 overall record.
After defeating W.S. Neal, Miller had to play Andalusia.
Miller lost 3-0 to Andalusia after losing game one 25-12, game two 25-23 and game three 25-23.
In game one, Morgan Hubbard had four service points to lead Miller.
In game two, Hubbard had eight as Natalie Neal had five. In game three, Rachel Bostic had eight and Hubbard had four.

T.R. Miller was scheduled to take on St. James yesterday in Opp, Al. in regional play. Results from that game will be in Wednesday’s edition.
