Hundreds of princesses, pirates, ghosts and ghouls will have to put their trick or treat activities on hold for one extra day this year.
Officials in Brewton and East Brewton have set official community trick or treat time at 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1.
East Brewton Mayor Terry Clark agreed the change would be beneficial to both communities.
As in years past, those in costume are invited to drop by the offices of The Brewton Standard to have their picture taken.
Photos will be taken at The Brewton Standard from 4 to 6 pm. Pictures will be published in the Nov. 4 edition of the newspaper.
