Saying goodbye is considered by many to be a hard act to perform. Clients and friends of Wilodyne Frazier had to do just that on Thursday.
Frazier retired as an agent with State Farm Insurance in Brewton after serving clients in the area for 27 years.
Frazier is passing the reigns of the business to Wendy Folmar who began her work in the agency on Saturday.
Frazier began her career in Brewton as a State Farm agent after spending several years in teaching.
Frazier followed in the footsteps of her father when she became an insurance agent.
Mack Williams retired as a State Farm agent with his son, Marc Williams, assuming responsibilities for the agency in Monroeville.
Frazier said she is comfortable leaving her clients in Folmar's hands.
Folmar, who lives in the Range area, began with her first official day on Saturday following Frazier's retirement.
Folmar steps into the position with more than 10 years of experience in the insurance business.
Frazier is planning on taking things a little slower in the future, but has no plans of sitting still.
