WSN Eagles fall

Just like in the girl's loss to Northview, the W.S. Neal boy's loss was quite similar.
After having a late lead against the Chiefs, W.S. Neal loss their lead and the game in the final minutes as they fell 54-51 to drop them to 1-3 on the season Tuesday night at home.
W.S. Neal held a 51-50 lead after Rashad Crook scored five straight points for the Eagles to put them ahead after being down 47-48.
Northview then pulled ahead with the lead 52-51 with 44 seconds left and held a 54-51 lead with 11 seconds.
After a W.S. Neal turnover gave the ball back to the Chiefs, the Chiefs held the ball, but W.S. Neal stole the ball with 3 seconds left, but a last second shot missed as Northview held on for the win.
After falling down 5-0 early, W.S. Neal got on the board after Chris Payne's two-pointer with 5:15.
Northview then opened up an 11-2 with 2:55 remaining in the quarter.
W.S. Neal came within three at 11-8 with 1:30 left in the first quarter as Northview held a 13-10 lead at the end of the first quarter.
The second quarter was a very exciting and point-filled quarter as Neal tied the game up at 13-13 and then took a 14-13 lead courtesy of Crook.
Both teams alternated points as Neal took a 30-27 lead with 1:46 left before the half.
Northview then took a 31-30 lead but Neal rang off three points to the end the second quarter with a 34-30 lead.
After the second quarter was full of points for W.S. Neal, the third lacked as Neal only scored four points but still hung tied with the Chiefs at 38-38 going into the fourth quarter.
Neal started the fourth quarter with baskets from Crook and Jeremy Nicholson as they took a 42-38 lead with 6:45 left in the game and then added to their lead and take a 44-41 lead with 5:45 left in the game.
Northview stormed back and tied the game at 44-44 and later at 46-46 with 4:15 left.
After taking a 51-50 lead, Northview then came back and took a 54-51 lead with less than 11 seconds in the game as Northview held on for the win.

In the game against Georgiana, the Panthers opened a big lead early as W.S. Neal never could catch up and was outscored in each quarter. Georgiana won the game 65-31.
