With barking dogs and purring cats providing background music, Santa Claus will be making his annual visit for the Escambia County Humane Society's Santa Paws event Sunday.
Area residents are invited to bring their pets to visit with Santa and pose for a holiday photo.
The funds taken in from donations on Sunday will be used to meet supply needs for the ECHS facility.
The event will also feature a special adopt-athon session, Burkley said.
Prices for adopting a dog or puppy will be $50 through Dec. 31, with adoption fees for cats and kittens at $25 each.
Kennel hours to choose a pet are Monday through Friday from noon to 4 p.m.
