Children in East Brewton and Escambia County enjoy youth sports and Little League throughout the summer. But without the help of a local organization that helps the East Brewton youth sports those children might not have anything to do, youth sports organizers said.
The organization is the Brewton and East Brewton United Fund, which plays a big part is many organizations around the community and plays a big part in the city of East Brewton's sports.
While many other cities charge more for fees and other things, East Brewton is able to keep their fees down because of the United Fund.
Shell said the money received from the United Fund helps out a lot and allows East Brewton to buy the necessary items needed for the players.
United Fund is currently conducting its fall campaign to raise funds for its 16 member agencies. Mail donations to United Fund, P.O. Box 34, Brewton, AL 36427.
